ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN POSITION

We are seeking an Electrical Technician who will safely perform all necessary duties and responsibilities inclusive of but not limited the day-to-day tasks below. They should work well alone or in a team environment and are willing to learn the ins and outs of installing systems while using the supporting equipment. In this role, they perform scheduled installs and/or corrective maintenance, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical components and systems in a timely manner. The ideal candidate would have mechanical and/or electrical experience, a familiarity with solar products and have basic troubleshooting experience with fabrication experience as a plus.

DAILY DUTIES

Tasks Vary But Include:

  • Using power tools such as table saw, chop saw, drills, impact drivers, etc.

  • Using basic electrical hand tools

  • Prepping parts like solar panels, component boards, power inverters and various other items

  • Working with a team to determine best location for component installations

  • Building systems for off-grid power usage using components like:

    • Solar panels

    • Solar controllers

    • Power inverters

    • Lithium battery banks

    • Various safety components

    • Various control and communication components

  • Fabrication of mounting structures or various component displays

QUALIFICATIONS

AND SKILLS

Qualifications:

  • Valid ID and work status

  • Must be 18+ years old

  • Good attendance and work ethic

  • Ability to work overtime when needed

  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend or stoop frequently, lift 50 pounds.

  • Ability to work independently

  • Focus on quality and safety

  • Must pass background check

  • Must pass drug test

Skills and Experience:

  • Operational knowledge of Automotive DC and/or Residential AC systems

  • Ability to read and interpret prints and schematics.

  • Electrical Troubleshooting

  • Desire to learn

  • $18 - $25 per hour
